Kitbag.com Keyword Policy Reminder

Dear affiliate,
Further to some recent episodes of some affiliate’s running search engine PPC advertising (Kitbag brand bidding), we thought it was worth clarifying this matter. The following details are part of the standard affiliate terms & conditions (which has been expanded today to make this area clearer):
Affiliate terms and restrictions
Affiliates are not allowed to use the Kitbag feed to feature products on either Google Base or Google Product Search.

Paid Search and Keyword policy
These restrictions are for any adverts on all ad platforms, including but not limited to search engines, content networks, social networking ad placements, etc.

* Affiliates are asked not to appear on brand name searches. This also includes misspells or variations of our brand name. Keyword restrictions include (but are not limited to): Kitbag, Kitbag.com, Kit bag, Kitbag.co.uk, Kitbags, kitag, kitba
* Direct PPC bidding / linking is not allowed.
* Bidding on generic product related terms is allowed.
* Affiliates are asked not to appear on extended brand name searches: eg. ?Kitbag football shirts?, ?Kitbag vouchers? etc.
* In order to avoid any broadmatching issues, affiliates are requested to add Kitbag and Kitbag.com as negative keywords in all paid search activity.

Use of Domains and Ad Copy
* Direct linking and using the Kitbag website as a display URL is not allowed, including through automatic redirects on a website page.
* Kitbag also request that you do not use any display URL in paid search that may suggest a connection with Kitbag, this includes use within subdomains and subfolders, for example: www.affiliatexyz.com/kitbagoffers
* Use of the brand name is not allowed within the ad title and ad copy.

Anyone found infringing on these terms will be contacted by the Kitbag account team. Please note anyone found contravening the T&C?s may have their commissions declined and face suspension from the programme. In extreme circumstances Kitbag reserve to right to immediately suspend any affiliates found contravening these terms and conditions from the programme, reversing any commissions accrued.
